Notifications and search

Find GitLab activity and route notifications to the right self-hosted instance.

Global search includes GitLab merge requests and pipelines alongside GitHub, Jira, worktrees, and other AIDE resources. Results retain the provider and use the configured instance root when they open a GitLab link.

Notifications cover merge-request activity, review changes, discussion updates, pipeline and job status, retries, and auto-retry outcomes. Webhook events normally create updates first; polling provides a fallback for pipeline observations.

GitHub and GitLab notification links remain independent when both providers are configured. Clearing one provider removes its navigation section without changing the other provider’s destinations or stored settings.
